Wisconsin Federated Humane Societies, Inc. is the only statewide organization that represents humane societies in the state of Wisconsin. Established in 1927, WFHS and its network of shelter professionals and state wide partners provide educational assistance to any society or municipality requesting it. In addition, WFHS provides quality educational opportunities for shelter personnel and continues to promote animal welfare advances through legislation.

A Proud History
Wisconsin Federated Humane Societies, Inc. was issued its Articles of Incorporation in the State of Wisconsin in 1927. For over 75 years, the organization has provided education on animal issues and promoted animal welfare through legislation.
