About the Board
The Wisconsin Federated Humane Society, Inc. is the only state-wide organization that represents humane societies in Wisconsin. The organization is governed by a Board of Directors, which sets policies and monitors finances. All board members maintain an individual membership in WFHS, and serve a three-year term, without compensation. Duties include attending and actively participating in scheduled board meetings and board retreats, taking part in committees and supporting special events.
Board members must:
Board members can expect to spend approximately 5 to 8 hours per month on Board related activities in addition to scheduled meetings. Join the Board
