WHERE DO YOU WORK/WHAT IS YOUR CAREER?Clark County Humane Society, where I am the Director of Administrative Services. I have been involved at CCHS for 26 years, having started as a volunteer cleaning cat litter boxes.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU SERVED ON THE WFHS BOARD?I have served on the WFHS BOD since 2011.
WHAT KIND OF PETS DO YOU HAVE?We have two dogs and three cats, all adopted from CCHS. Our Alfie is a three-legged puppy mill survivor who inspires our work every day with his love and trust.

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO SERVE ON THE WFHS BOARD? When I started as a Shelter volunteer I was a complete novice, but was fortunate to have great mentors. I also learned so much from attending WFHS events. I feel it is so very important that we continue to share information and have the opportunity to learn from each other. I have also witnessed the great things that can occur when organizations work together and help each other. WFHS is the best resource we have to making that happen.
WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES?I enjoy flower gardening, reading, puzzles, and shopping.

WHAT CHANGES WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE HAPPEN IN WISCONSIN IN REGARDS TO ANIMAL WELFARE?I would like to see stronger laws in Wisconsin for animal welfare. In addition, I would like to see strict enforcement of those laws and stronger penalties for violations.
WHAT IS A FUN FACT ABOUT YOU?I am a huge Star Trek fan and have a room filled with collectibles. In fact, I’m proud to have the personalized Wisconsin license plate of “Trekker” on my vehicle!
