WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO SERVE ON THE WFHS BOARD? It was a great way to get involved beyond the walls of our shelter and help represent our rural community. It was also a chance to get involved in the legislative and regulatory aspects of animal care that affect everything we do.

WHAT CHANGES WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE HAPPEN IN WISCONSIN IN REGARDS TO ANIMAL WELFARE?It would be great to see more support for animal hoarding cases both in prevention and social service support to help with reoccurence. It would also be great to see more communities and pet stores embracing the adopt don't shop model to help reduce the reliance and acceptance of puppy mills, which are unfortunately common in Wisconsin.
