Shelter Job Opening: Dane County Humane Society Animal Medical Services Programs Supervisor
Dane County Humane Society in Madison, Wisconsin is recruiting for an Animal Medical Services (AMS) Programs Supervisor.
Wage/Hours: The position is full time with a starting salary of $30,000 annually (based on experience). The position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week with primarily weekday hours and 'on-call' availability for the SAAV foster program.
Projects: The AMS Programs Supervisor is responsible for supervising, facilitating, and promoting the DCHS spay/neuter program, foster, and Felines in Treatment (Ringworm) programs. The supervisor is responsible for the development, recruitment, training, scheduling and support of volunteers to facilitate the daily tasks of each program. Additional responsibilities include maintaining communications with various groups and individuals as required for each program and maintaining accurate records to assure goals and budgets are met. Additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications: We are looking for a team-oriented individual with a friendly, outgoing, attitude and strong communication and people skills. Successful candidates should be computer literate and possess critical evaluation and observation skills.
