Animal Hoarding Resources

Animal hoarding is the keeping of a large number of pets, beyond the person's ability to care for the animals properly.  Compulsive hoarding can be characterized as a symptom of mental disorder rather than deliberate cruelty towards animals.  Wisconsin Federated Humane Societies has compiled the following list of resources to increase awareness of and answer questions related to hoarding.
