About Us

The Wisconsin Federated Humane Societies, Inc. is the only statewide organization that represents humane societies in the state of Wisconsin. Established in 1927, the WFHS and its network of shelter professionals and state wide partners provide educational assistance to any society or municipality requesting it. In addition, the WFHS provides quality educational opportunities for shelter personnel and continues to promote animal welfare advances through legislation.
